Does anyone know somewhere that would do a good breakfast/brunch on weekday mornings? I know plenty that do it at the weekend but don't suppose there's as wide a range for during the week.

Del Rio's across from the Abbey, Kingfisher on Parnell St, Flanagans on O'Connell St or even the Kylemore.
There is more choice during the week than at the weekend.

I hear good things about Kingfisher, but I have doubts about eating there. It's the smell of the place, especially when you go around the corner outside the SF shop. ugh.

Kingfisher is a great little spot outside of brekkie too. Lovely main courses etc. there and great value. There is a reason it is always pretty busy.

I think we had this thread before. +1 for Kingfisher. It's always busy, a good sign. Really good for any time of the day, ignore the surroundings.

I agree with all the other places too.

Had the full irish in Elephant and Castle there last week and tbh not impressed. Not a good full irish at all, only good thing is the unlimited tea/coffee as the coffee was good.

If you are around Ranelagh go to Hobarts - lovely breakfast

Cafe Sofia at the bottom of Wexford street is lovely - reasonable too. Bliss on Montague St does a great fry aswell. Both these places the staff are really friendly and accomadating without being overbearing.
