    Meanwhile DCENR keeps insisting that Mobile Internet is Broadband.
    People keep talking about doing the last 10% by Mobile and Satellite, even though Africans are ditching Satellite for Fibre and Vodafone in Germany markets LTE as complementary to Broadband.

    The UK is 15th
    The wheezy Celtic Tiger, by contrast, made a characteristically dismal showing. Ireland staggered in at 29th place, rather embarrassingly getting beaten by Malaysia: this is a poor effort as Malaysia is in a lower income group than Ireland, and should have been well behind.

    We're the lowest-ranked country in the world out of the predominantly english-speaking countries, by some margin.
