IE7 cannot start in XP

Help needed if anyone has experience on this.

IE7 crashes in WinXP SP3. It just flashes for a moment but cannot startup. Unistalled, cleaned up computer from trash, re-installed IE7 but no go.

After re-installation I did register this dll succesfully but no go:
regsvr32 IEProxy.dll

Reset and Addons disable will try in an hour when get back to that antiq piece of PC.. will see how it goes..

No quick fix could solve this one.

Found more info based on Application event viewer information "eventType: clr20r3 iexplore.exe"
.NET framework 2.0 was corrupted so got it uninstalled (=this wasn't straight forward neither), restared computer and installed .NET 2.0 SP2. Installed also NET 3.5.1.

Now IE7 shoots open.

Today had another computer with the same problem but this time .NET Framework was fine. Solved by disabling unneccessary addons (some bluetooth and toolbars).

Then executed this line in cmd:
regsvr32.exe "c:\program files\internet explorer\ieproxy.dll"
