    Just wondering if anyone here has raced the Barcelona Triathlon before and if so what they thought of the race / organisation etc..?

    Any info much appreciated!

    Also anyone else considering this race? (Good excuse to visit a great city:)

    it's a great race - i did it last year and going back with a few mates next weekend. the bike and run courses are great, especially the 4 laps of the city on the bike. technical course and drafting's allowed! the run is nice and flat but goes past nice park. plus weather is nice and crowds big.

    we brought our own bikes - €40 each way with Aer Lingus. You could try rent bikes, but since it's a big race I found it difficult to get a racing bike rental that week. If you rented one in Girona and took it down on the train that's another option
