Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Transfer Hi8 and VHS tapes to DVD?

    Hi folks

I have an old sony camcorder from 2001 and a more recent version with a HDD. The newer model is obviously much easier to handle in terms of making DVDs, etc.

My query relates to what is the best way to put all the old recordings I have, some on Hi8 tapes, some on VHS tapes, onto DVDs? Should I buy a VHS/DVD combo? I already have a VHS player so maybe I should just buy a DVD recorder with HDD? Would I be able to plug my old Sony camcorder into a new recorder and transfer the Hi8 recording straight onto the HDD?

    All advice greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
