Covering LED Lights

Just a question re replacing 50watt low voltage halogen downlights with LED bulbs. At present the halogen lights are covered with insulation which is dangerous hence why they are been changed - is there any regulation regarding covering LED lights with insulation

fire rated downlights maintain the fire barrier

F-capped afaik means they are suitable for covering with thermal insulation

i doubt there'a a hazard covering leds but the lamp life might be reduced
