Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

External Hard Drive Problem

    Im really bad with this stuff so if anybody could help it'd be hugely appreciated.

    Anyway, I've had this Western Digital My Passport for a few months and all of a sudden it has stopped appearing in my computer, i've tried it on another PC and it wont appear on that either.

    So I downloaded Data Lifeguard Diagnostics for it and it passed all the tests and then it began to appear in my computer as Local Disk(E). Anyone know how to fix this problem?

    so its not always connecting? anyway works as E drive or?

    what OS you use?

    1. try another cable , mini-usb?

    2. go to Computer manager > disk management- what you see there? is WD shown and whats the status?

    3. if you have card reader or some other usb devices, disconnect dem all (except mouse and keyb), reboot pc then connect only the WD
