    Ahem..

Ok so this is the DIY scabby answer..

    I would make one..

The main pit looks like an old water tank or something similiar?
    Dunno about heat resistance?
I'd imagine the main bit, the looks like a rectangle box could be the trickiest..

So if you get an old metal rectangle box thing..

Spray it with black stove paint (do not use normal paint!!)

Go to your local dump/recycling for broken electrics/cookers etc..

Old cooker grill shelves will do as cooking part..

Mount the whole thing on bricks - use heat resistant mortar/cement so it doesn't fall on you :p

The lid thing looks like a fancy fire guard to me..

    Sorted...

if you google firepits..millions of plans and designs come up!

Or you could pay €179! :)

    Play safe!

I did have a quick look at any of the ones I would have thought might stock them and it seems that the site you quoted seems to have the monopoly on them ! Sorry..

Maybe try the talk/chat board on www.garden.ie also?

    :)

Why not bring the picture of what you want into a metal workshop and get them to make it up. There's places that do that sort of thing in industrial estates all over the place.

Wouldn't using one of these be classified as backyard burning?
