Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Shopping in France

Arriving in Bordeaux on Sunday (traveling to south of Agen) and need to get a few provisions for our self catering accommodation. Don't think that Aldi or Lidl are open on a Sunday. Can anyone tell me names of other supermarket chains that we can look out for and that might be open on a Sunday? Thanks.

Carrefour may be open, they tend to be big supermarkets on the outskirts of town. The likes of Monoprix or Casino only open if the shopping centre they're in is open, but chances are the centres are closed!

In short, best bet is to get essentials in a convenience store and wait til Minday to do a proper shop. Small shops are a serious rip off.

Champion, Leclerc and Carrefor all tend to open on a Sunday BUT make sure you get there before they close for lunch i.e. Half twelve. Most french towns tend to become ghost towns on the Sunday. Agen great though, I suggest going to the theme park they have there Park Wallaby I think its called.

Thanks for that and it confirmed what I thought about shopping in France.
Plan to visit Park Wallaby though. Regards....
