Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Tesco currently have Jacobs Fig Rolls reduced from €1.89 to €1.
This is for a 200gm pack.
In the Tullamore Tesco store the Fig Rolls also have 100% extra free making a 400gm pack just €1

They're not marketing the trannies themselves surely? ..they just seem excited at some biscuits they're having.. and wish to share that information with you.

The question used to be "how do they get the figs into the fig rolls" now it's "how do they get the figs into the fig rolls for that price" great value for all walks of life.

Got some of the 100% extra free ie 400grams, for €1.00 in Tesco Wilton. Admittedly great value - but I am sad - in recent years these do not taste like they used to - they are quite chewy (the bikkie part) and the fig part is very flat - no feeling of biting into a "centre" with a different texture and taste. The package doesn't tell you where they are made but I suspect you are right - the Jacobs wrapper is all that's left.
Hope they don't mess with Mikado - they already screwed up Kimberlys (and chocolate Kimberleys? an abomination!)

The package doesn't tell you where they are made

Nothing ever does it just states were there offices are based in Ireland, Chef sauce and Fruitfield Jam are the same although the Fruitfield 'Old Time Irish' marmalade has in small print 'Made in the UK'

Just to confirm, Eurospar (at least in Dunboyne) have them for €1, but don't have the 100% extra free ones :(
