They have Nashville at 99% and 90%....which baffles me, i think that is headed for cancellation. Most of the ABC non sitcoms will be renewed.

I think Nashville will get renewed

I think it will too. it's got a strong team behind it, plus strong musical production and good songs which will do well in after show album sales, especially if the show gets a second season to get established internationally. I'm already evangelising the show to my friends, or rather their wives and girlfriends, and a few are looking out for it which is a good sign. Even as a guy I find it good soap opera!

When are we likely to know about Nashville? I'd be putting money on a renewal actually. I don't know why you're so down on it Richard.

I'll be pissed if Nashville doesn't get renewed. Never realised it was a possibility.

Ah bummer about touch, it really got going in the last 5 or 6 episodes. Too little too late i guess.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,533 ✭✭✭don ramo

i know there saying 4th and final season, but doesnt a shortened season kind of lock them in for another season to hit the 100 syndication mark, i remember when fringe was renewed for a 4th season, the 4th season order brought it to about 85-87 episodes, and i said it then that a 5th season is a lock, im gonna say the same about this, now was the time to either cut your losses at 67 or go for the 100

that or if their new shows bomb they could just bump up nikitas order,

Yeah could be like Chuck where it was always used to fill in for cancellations. Only problem there was you could tell it was planned as half the length it was.
I like Nikita but I would be happy if they went in knowing it was their final season instead of starting to wrap things up only to then be told they have to drag their story out another 10 episodes
