    there is indeed but its much better to have the players in and out before the start of the season. no point in hanging around until end of august when there have been 3-4 games played already

    Gomes really does need to go, chap ain't the worst keeper in the world, One Manuel Almunia comes to mind. Carlo ain't a number one and Friedel is getting on. Friedel is a undoubtedly a great keeper but he's only got a number of years left. Would like to see us try get Foster, he is prone to a few clangers but has gotten better and is a very good shot stopper. Myabe he might be a decent number one for a few years.
