Heading to Brisbane in June with my GF , We both with be bring our cameras and laptops with us , any one know of some specialist insurance companies either here or in Australia that would be able to cover these , total value is €3k of electrical goods

we wont be back packing , have a house to live in and will be looking for place of our own then shortly after

Can contents insurance be got by non residents ?

    Thanks

contenst insurnace is your best bet once your over there. i dont think they would have an issue with you being a non resident. We wouldnt have that issue here.
but if you email a couple of brokers/companies before you go and double check.
there isnt any policy you can take for Electirc Goods any way

AAMI do contents insurance for renters. There's a lot more on offer for homeowners.
