Exactly what I was thinking. Unless it was digital only, but then why do that, wouldn't it have been better for analogue viewers to see it?

It wasn't on digital either. I thought they might have had a countdown or something, given that it was live!

Sadly, UTV got the website wrong, it's digitaluk.co.uk and not digital.co.uk.

They got the rate wrong too. The announcer said 5p per minute off-peak while on screen it said 0.5p.

UTV also said calls were 5p a min, but they are 0.5p a minute!

Only bl**dy reason I watched was to see the switch off from Divis. It couldn't have been that difficult to get a live from there!

    There goes CH5

The caption on Channel 5 came on air just as they pulled the plug. All terrestrial broadcasts now finished, permanently.

    Now, to retune!

Depends which transmitter you are getting. All main transmitters are due to be up by 6:00am.

I will try a few times before bed, but if nothing, I will go to sleep and wait until the morning and do it before work, then again at lunchtime for RTÉ.

Leave it until tomorrow morning or afternoon (the latter if you're receiving from a relay).

Hmm, BBCA still on from Divis. Wonder if they are going to turn it off at some point and put it back on with the others at the same time...?

BBC A still broadcasting from Divis and Carnmoney Hill. Low powered Freeview multiplex from Divis now off. Nothing so far from the new high powered ones or the HD mux yet.

One is hoping not. That would be ghastly.
