As to why anyone would want to work with a company that makes $hité like the ACR, one of the more expensive hypes of the rifle world in both a civilian and military format.

Sure they can make a good bolt gun, shotgun and ammo .... but if I were them Id leave it at that. Everything else they have has either been rubbish, not an origional remington design and entered the market too late so no one uses it, or a cocktail of parts that were put together to be sold on....

I hope as a projest manager you can come up with some better ideas :P

I could apply, I have all the qualifications.
The Remington 700 has stood the test of time.

The ACR is new to me, But from the videos it looks good.
You have to remember the AR was very unreliable when it came out first

(and the russians stole the design for the AK off the Germans :p:p )

I was seriously thinking of applying online

By all means if you do apply I hope you get it, it would be a great stepping stone toward ... HK :P:P:P

The remmy stood the test of time, yes thats the good bolt gun that I was talking about but in its standard form leaves alot to be desired. Any company that can turn out that many guns of course is going last. As will the 10s of millions of AK varients that are out there.

From the video.... having met with people who waited cash in hand for months past its due date only to find the broken promises of almost twice what they were quoted on putting a deposit on and missing key features that were quoted.....

Ive also held an ACR in person (briefly) and its like communism.... Great idea on paper but a disaster in reality

As for the M16/M4 it always has/will had/have reliability issues as long as its a DI gun being brought into battle, most of the arm chair generals of the internet who harp on about them havent abused the a DI gun until a point of fail.

The best thing to happen the AR was for a gas piston version to be introduced to the market...... to which remington has jumped onto the band waggon.

And yes, the MP-43 or Stg 44 is the daddy of the AK.

If I wanted an AR Variant I would go Oberland arms.
A friend of mine has a SigSaur with a custom barrel which is quite nice too.

However, for the shooting I do the Remington 700's that I own tick all the boxes.
I'm a field conditions shooter. that is the reason All my pics are taken in the field, and the reason I do not use wooden stocks (except on my shotgun of course which is very refined :D)

    Accurate, Deadly, Dependable
    Just Like Hornady Ammo.

    Getting back to remington.

They never mention what Salary. A friend of mine in the US; His Brother works there. No different than working in Ikea AFAIK.

I've being doing the same type jobs for ~15 years.
I'd like a new job in an area I loved that still would match my skill level.
Rather than just working for "The Man"

Hopefully the QC problem in Oberland has been fixed but I know a guy who had the barrel extention fail on 1 of there rifles.... while shooting. If memory serves me correct it was 6 of 8 lugs broke off .... he was lucky that the bolt and carrier didnt exit the gun.

For that reason i wouldnt buy 1 ..... ohhh and the company logo looks like a 5 year old drew it.

Sig 55x series rifles are VERY nice..... would it happen to be a friend who had a custom stainless barrel made by a very talented rifle builder here in Ireland.... if so I know the man :)

Back to remmy.... as much as you love your 700 in your field..... Have you left it standard ??? :)

And do you prefer hornady over remington ammo ???? dont say that in an interview :P :P :P :P
