Do you find really thin/skinny women attractive or a turn off?

Here bum is NOT too big in this!

Surely what most men want is for a woman to be a woman. Muscular or shapeless and bony is a turn-off for me anyway.

I personally couldn't achieve anything resembling an erection for that... It's a grand bum but not for me. It's just preference.

Dere's more to women den dis.

It's important to be physically attracted to someone but thats only a part of things. You need to have the same sense of humour and have a bit of craic.

It gets boring fast other wise. I have a friend and he rates looks over everything else. As they say in Pulp Fiction i find that personality goes a long way. ;)

    I don't mind skinny womens - but I'd prefer Katie Perry's shape
Thing is Katy Perry is skinny. Someone like I dunno, Jessica Alba is tiny. In the flesh they both would be very small framed ladies.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

I never really noticed - maybe I was judging the rest of her body by her wonderful shapely boobs.

    Tunnel vision ftw.

While there are factors that cause variances - one of the main ones being: a e.g. Dunnes size 12 is much bigger than a Top Shop size 12 - there is a general scale all right:

    Size 6 - very petite/slender
    Size 8 - petite/slender
    Size 10 - slim
Size 12 - curvy (in the good way)
Size 14 - not big but a little bit chubby, can look curvy in the good way too
Size 16 onwards - plus sized

Again though, there are variances. The above is just a rough guide.

Size 4 is a rarity, if in existence at all for healthy women - there was a push for it to become a reality there a few years ago (anyone who says certain elements of the fashion industry don't push unhealthily thin is deluded - even if there's also a culture of complacency re excessive weight). The above are this side of the Atlantic too, it's different in the States - over there, the numbers start lower. The size zero thing means a size four (or thereabouts) here.

These sizes don't seem to be calibreated against anything. How can you have a scale that begins at 6 and increases in steps of 2? And it doesn't seem to take into account tall women with proportionate width/circumference measurements.

I used to be a size 6 and I hated it. imo any time I see a really skinny girl I'd just want to give her a burger. it's soo unattractive

She's slim, but she still is curvy. I don't think you have to be size 10 or 12 to be curvy. She is curvy in that her body has noticeable curves. Some slim girls who wear size 6 or 8 can be curvier than some size 12s.

Small frames, but frames that have curves that are well proportioned.

I wouldnt like a girl who was too skinny, Keira Knightly comes to mind.

Girls who have a bit of meat on their bones are nice too, Elaine Crowley on TV3 comes to mind.

However many shops don't keep to the measurements, eg a size 10 in a younger persons shop eg Topshop would be smaller than for example, a shop like M&S where an older woman would shop. Shops are essentially tryin to con women into thinkin their size hasn't changed as they've got older, which for many of us, isn't the case!

I'm liking all this love for January Jones (can't help but call her Betty though) :D - I'm quite close to her body type, or at least will be with a bit of toning over the summer. Smaller boobs though unfortunately :o

Maybe I should pick up some '50s style summer dresses..

It depends on the girl. It certainly isnt simply about weight or size as girls have different proportions to each other in terms or hips boobs ect. I dont thin really skinny girls are attractive really because they tend to lose their waist and ass.

Yeah it is weird not calling her Betty! She is pretty much my ideal type of girl in a physical sense, she manages to tick all my boxes. I love that icy blonde, blue eyed look and if I had my way it would be summer all year round with mandatory summer dress wearing for girls :pac:

I don't know how you can say she is overweight

I just see her natural body shape and a damn nice looking body shape it is

She might be bigger than the preference of some though. I actually think January Jones appears to be quite curvy.

I know if I ever got to that size I would consider myself overweight. As would my boyfriend! She certainly looks a bit odd in that dress. Her boobs are all high and squashed, it doesn't look very natural to me.

I understand the attraction of the shape to some though ;)

She isn't overweight in proportion to her boobs though, if anything maybe a little underweight. That's probably a classic hourglass figure in proportion.

Except that boob size is not always in proportion to body weight though. You can't say that a size 6 petite girl with DDs is underweight but a size 6 petite girl with a B cup is in proportion.

Oh, of course not! I'm just saying she isn't that thin but in relation to her boob size, yes, so she can get away with a bit more weight.

In your comparison, the girl with the DD's can probably get away with a bit more weight, the B cup not so much as she wouldn't be very curvy.

I think she looks like Jordan, they look crazily big! I know, her hips are big too, so not exactly the same, but to me it's definitely heavy.
