    Hi there,

Does anyone know the difference between the Grad Diploma and the Higher Diploma in UCD?

I don't know which to put down as my second preference after the Masters in Linguistics.

    Thanks!

I don't know about Linguistics, but usually the Grad Dip is the same as the Masters without a thesis - i.e. made up of postgrad modules. HDips are usually made up of undergrad modules and are intended for people who don't have any background in the area to get up to speed.

    Cheers Gae,

So the highest qualifications from top to bottom is:

    1) Masters
    2) Grad Diploma
    3) Higher Diploma?
