Updates that don't load

Got my 20 updates during the week. However one won't load, no matter that I have loaded them individually. KB2510531, I have Windows XP. This seems to be rated pretty important but just won't load. Anyone know why some updates just randomly don't load?

Have you tried downloading it on its own?

OK. System is looking to copy vbscript.dll. Looking in c/windows/system32/dllcache. There is no such folder. THere is c/windows/system32 which has a file called vbscript.dll but when I direct it to there it just says still can't find it and to insert "Windows XP System files" in the drive I specify.

There is no such folder as dllcache.

i'm darting between Google Chrome and IE8. Accessing MS in IE, talking to you in Chrome.

Well the problem might be some corruption within windows xp itself (not necessarily something to get overly worried about), or it's to do with ie8.
Can you search for updates and look at the optional windows updates. If there's anything pertaining to ie8 in there then install that

Only iE8 was one to enhance older website to look better in IE8 (KB2447568). It uploaded fine. Think its an XP problem as I get the updates automatically, but this won't load. THere's quite a list of optional updates, about six or seven
