IPhone robbed - Need a new replacement

    I had an iphone 3gs and it was robbed :( so im gettin an new

    i was lookin at:

    sony ericsson xperia x10
    htc HD
    htc desire
    samsung galaxy s

    So what phone is good i think the sony sounds deadly.

    The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 - who ever told you it's 'deadly' is NOT your friend. Do some research ;) Even the SE on esato.com hate the thing. I cannot believe they are still selling it.

    The devices you're looking at are very old now. They've all been replaced by newer ones

    You could look at HTC Desire S. Its a facelifted version of the Desire

    Previous Desire was a great phone. Im sure things are only improving with the next one :)

    If your worried about people robbing the phone you could look at Windows Phones. They got built in tracking. So if you lose it you can go onto your hotmail account. Ring it, locate it, lock it or remote wipe and lock the device (make it a brick with a code)

    I've got myself a Nokia N8-00 at the start of this year and it's absolutely amazing!
    The camera on that is unreal!

    Samsung Galaxy Ace is 250 on meteor. Just out and its android. Little above what you want to pay.

    OP you could pick up a HTC Desire or Samsung Galaxy S within you're budget second hand but the HD would be a good bit outside it and the xperia x10 (like all SE phones) is a piece of crap.

    Have a HTC Desire myself and not only is it the best phone I've ever owned but even after a year I still have no intention for replacing it as its so kick ass a phone.

    sony ericsson xperia x10 - No its old and buggy, the Sony Ericsson Arc would be better option.
    htc HD - Pretty solid, but have heard some users have poor battery life.
    htc desire - Have this myself and it is brill, but lately I'm getting storage warnings.
    samsung galaxy s - My mate loves his but Galaxy S II is out in June

    If I was you I'd go for either a HTC Desire S running Android 2.2, or Sony Ericsson Arc on 2.3. Carphone warehouse should have these phones on Meteors plans, even if Meteor stores do not. I have an upgrade with Meteor and I'm going for either of those or waiting till late June for the Galaxy S II.
