Ok, so my husband and I have decided that we want to have a little one. My problem is that I have never had regular periods, only get maybe 3-4 yearly and that would be pushing it. I have been to see a doctor about this but all they did was put me on the pill which is defeating the purpose and never brought on my periods anyway so i stopped taking them. We only used contraception (condoms) for about the first year of our relationship ( been together now over 3 years, married 6 weeks), and as of yet nothing has happened. I already have a daughter from a previous relationship who is 6 now. I was hoping that someone has been in the same position as ourselves and just to give me the positivity that there is light at the end of the tunnel. We are desperate for a baby, and hoping someone out there can help us!
    Thank you in advance :)

Ok, so you're trying 2 yrs, is that right?

No-one here is gonna have the answers. You have to go back to the doc and get a referral for fertility clinic. Don't let the doc give you the brush off. Things could be easily fixable or trackable.

    Best of luck.

    Hi Laura,

I think by this stage, its time for a gynae/fertility consult to check out why you have not concieved. I am nearly 2 years trying too, so I know the heartbreak you feel every month. I went to get bloods and other tests done after a year of not conceiving, and it felt great to be doing something about it rather than waiting and getting disappointed.

I hope you get your answers soon.
