They have a shop on Mary Street that sells books. They also have a warehouse on Anglesea Street, next to Channons blacksmiths, near the river.

yes they do sell books. They have a book room upstairs but I think they are in the process of bringing it downstairs. I think if you knocked on the door they would sell you books or anything else anytime of the day, but I think the preferred day is Friday but if you give them a ring they would fill you in. :)

I would think it would be over by St. Lukes Hospital. Theres a few offices over there. There is also Coolgreany House, which is opposite the old Chadwicks building on Western Road. If in doubt, give them a call.

Anyone knows if there is any double bed apartment available in Clonmel, near western road area? For 6 months lease?
I checked on daft but few are gone and the one available are asking for 1 year lease.
If I sign 1 year lease and leave apartment after 6 months by giving 30 days notice, am I going to loose my deposit money?

Try Sinclair Properties on Mary Street. Google them, or Tom Pollard.

You will lose your deposit if you "break" a 12 month lease, yes.

A bit of news e-Fibre broadband is available in Clonmel now, an upgrade on old ADSL broadband. I have Vodafone installed this afternoon. Speed is excellent at around 66MBps Download / 14Mb Upload plus is cheaper than the old ADSL.

I have seen the fibre boxes going up around the town in the last few months.

Their TV/phone/internet bundle is a good deal compared to UPC.

I was wondering that myself! I saw them at the roundabout heading towards apple green this morning.

Just did a bit of googling there. Is it anything to do with this crowd? http://www.flamingo.ie/ . Looks like they are opening a casino in Clonmel.

Was down in showgrounds today. Place was mobbed seems to be a real buzz there since TKmax went in there. Good to see 2 new shops replacing 2 that had shut up recently.

Noise at the weekend may be an issue as parnell Street, at the top of Nelson Street, has some of the busier drinking holes.
I'm assuming it's harbour house so you should be ok in that respect I'd imagine.
Only visited an apartment there once many years ago so couldn't comment on the block tbh

Nelson Street is as safe as any street in Clonmel, it is in the town centre. Like any large town in Ireland do not be out on your own after midnight especially if you are a stranger with drink taken at least until you get to know the town.

Yes Mitchel Street, was known as the Narrow Street, colloquially as "de Narra Street", I can remember when two way traffic was allowed on this street and I don't mean pedestrian traffic.
