    The Gypsy Rose Rock & Blues Bar have a new Stage & PA system coming very soon.
    With this in mind, we want to start running gigs Wednesday through Sunday.

    Here's the deal.

    Wednesday - Showcase Gigs - Up to 3 Bands can show what they've got in order to obtain a weekend headline slot.

    Thursday - Metal Night. Metal bands. Metal DJ. €4 drinks all night.

    Friday - Originals Or Cover Bands.

    Saturday - Originals Or Cover Bands.

    Sunday - Showcase Gigs (See Thursday) or Originals/Cover Bands.

    Payment -

    Wednesday/Sunday - No payment, no charge to play.
    €1/€2 admission (to cover cost of the Sound Engineer).

    Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday - Bands set the admission cost.
    First €100 off door goes to the Sound Engineer. The remainder is split between the bands.

    Terms -

    Bands are expected to do their own PR for the gigs. This includes posters/flyers & online promotion.
    We will advertise on our Facebook and affiliated Dublin Nightlife websites as well as in the venue itself.

    We will supply a full, modern PA system with a great set of microphones & in house engineer as well as a DJ for after the gig.
    The downstairs venue opens at 8pm. Bands are expected in for soundcheck at 6pm.
    Bands must be off stage by 11:45pm.
    Bands are expected to supply & share backline.
    PA specifications available on request.

    The downstairs part of the venue is also available for private hire as long as the general theme of the bar is kept in place.

    Sounds really good, gonna have to get down there sometime soon, usually go to Fibbers (Old) when in town.

    Nothing like a small live music venue, can discover some real gems

    I thought every night was all drinks €4 ??? ... or have they changed recently ? (to be honest, haven't been in there since the Anathema gig).
