People who would rather subject themselves to that which they hate, instead of sparing themselves by changing the channel.

I'm looking forward to watching the wedding.

Noone is forcing the Royal Wedding on anyone. If people are so frustrated by it, maybe they should stop watching British Television channels. Is this not the obvious thing to do?

    I don't like horse racing - I don't watch attheraces.

You don't like Royal Weddings - Don't watch BBC.

    Gobshites.

    Or RTE, or TV3..

I don't watch tele anyways, it's a load of bollocks. Unless it's a re-run of Carl Sagan, or some wildlife videos of whales riding the face off each other, or Lions and Hyenas having a right old game of fistycuffs.

hondasam has missed the point entirely.

I'm commenting on people's idiocy when it comes to events such as these. They would rather sit down and watch coverage of it and then complain, rather than watching something that doesnt grind them and be at peace.

    Great Thread title

Very disappointing OP to be fair

You could have a future in AH but you need to try a bit harder :pac:

we can't complain because it has not happened yet.

Easy say "dont watch BBC" but when its plastered all over the shelves on newspapers, all over the radio, on all the news websites, its hard to stomach!!!! The BBC arent the ONLY ones who are goin on about it! it is YOU who is the gob****e! i literally only just watch the simpsons on sky and americas next top model on living, my daily fix and i dont need any other tv, and im STILL stuffed with this wedding, when i only watch about an hour and half telly a day!! "dont watch the BBC" PFFFFttt!!!

SACK ME?! SACK ME?!??!? I MAAADE THE BBC !!!!!!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,292 ✭✭✭TangyZizzle

I dont watch tv or read newspapers. Besides the coverage from my facebook feed "Fúck the Royals" etc.. Iv done quite well in avoiding the whole event thus far.

    Isn't that what you're doing?

Reading/listening to people complain about all the wedding coverage instead of ignoring it/them and being at peace?

You never know, could be exciting...

    Imagine this...

Priest: "...speak now or forever hold you peace"

    McBain: "I object"

    *collective gasp*

Priest: "Oh my! Sir please, why are you interrupting?"

McBain: "Let me spell it out... with pain!"

*Whips out two M60s and sprays the altar/crowd with lead*

Shows the power the English have had on the island. English language, native supporters of English clubs and now Irish people interested in the Royal wedding and many looking forward to it. Interesting times.

I think the common theme throughout this thread is that the people who are going to watch it are a very defensive and touchy bunch.

Not as touchy as the people who are upset its on Irish tv!
