Don't think majority of today's post would reflect that Loopy .it's mainly light hearted humor with no malice and like any wedding , wish the happy couple all the best .

The weird thing about this is the media, they'll build them up on the course of this engagement, now tomorrow they will be doing their best to break them down

Ya they are. Her brother (Earl of Spencer?) was there, and more probably but he was the only one singled out by the tv

Think he's got three fairly hot daughters which were a couple of rows behind him. All the Spencers are there and William and Harry were having a natter with then when they first arrived.

I have to say, Central London looks beautiful with the union flag flying from just about every building at the moment. :o

We don't have a national day where we can fly our flag and show unity and national spirit like Ireland or the United States do. I think this occasion is as much about community as anything else to many people.
    Yes
They are going to call it "Europe Day"

Because King trumps Queen in the feudal heirachy, i would guess, so he was only given the title of duke

It's not [Central] London; it's [the City of] Westminster.

Otherwise her title would now be Princess William, which is a bit odd. Now she is a Duchess so has her own title in effect, kind of.

Are they showing the "Afters"? I'd like to see all the Royals and the others of the Patrician classes getting legless and starting punch-ups in the car park. :pac:
