Does he sing on that album? I think you may be mixing him up with Tim Armstrong, on the song Cat Like Thief.
Yes you are right, for some reason I always thought that was travis, perhaps its just how I imagined he would sound like!

Hey Im 14 Will I Be Able To Get In With A Friend He's Quite Tall
Do Anybody Know Will I Get In Or Will I Get Turned A Way

I went to Paramore with my girlfriend (who at the time was just a girl that was also a friend :p) back in 2010, I was only 15 and I believe she was 14, we got in without a bother!

So long as you don't look twelve, they're not likely to say anything. It was my first time at the 02 so I was worried they might, but they literally just scan the ticket and beckon you inside. Unless you look really young, there shouldn't be a problem!

Cant wait for this now. The last o2 gig was buzzing but the new songs were obviously written to be played at this scale so its going to be serious. :D

Also bagged two front row tickets for the manchester apollo gig this morning too so that should be pretty special too.
I'd love to find out where they're staying in dublin that night, or if theyre going straight to belfast post-gig.

Id say there will be about 5 or 6 songs from the new record . Tbh id be annoyed if they just did another Greatist Hits set , plus they are promoting the new album on this tour

Going by the reasons they didnt go through with the planned tour from last year i dont think that will happen.
    I would expect:

    Open with Feeling this
Then a new song, maybe Hearts all gone
    Whats my age again
    First date
    Small things
Another new one here in after midnight
    Rock show
    Stay together
    Wishing well
    Down
    Miss you
    Not now
    Then a medley of classics
    Ghost on dancefloor

    Encore
    Drum solo
    After midnight
    Dammit (of course)

I didn't like the new record but I don't mind if they play half a set of old and half new...just hope all of my favourites get played :)

Maybe, i dunno. As tracks go they are pretty interchangeable so could be either.
Or neither, of course. The set list above is more a prediction of what songs they more than likely will play, the order is just how i think id order it.

I would imagine at least one or two more from neighborhoods after all they did say last year when they cancelled oxegen that they didn't want to come back just playing a full set of their old stuff. Didn't like the new album at first but as all good albums, it grows on you after listening to it over and over and over :D

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,201 ✭✭✭languagenerd

I reckon they'll play both Up All Night and Hearts All Gone anyway (in reference to the above debate).

They'll probably play about half the new album. It's rare that a band doesn't play their biggest hits though, so I'm 99% sure we'll still get to hear a lot of the older songs too. More singles than album-tracks, I'd bet.

Oh yeah! I wasn't going to see them then so it slipped my mind. It looks like it's implying that they're finally playing in the O2 :p

It does, maybe whoever made up the poster never knew they were here 2 years ago either.

I remember when they cancelled their Oxegen appearance the O2 date next week was announced more than a year ago. I guess that's what they mean by 'finally'.

all american rejects are a great supporting act in my view, convinced me to pick up a ticket for this. i'm surprised it's not sold out, last year the standing tickets were gone on the release date.

Standing tickets were gone a few weeks ago. They must have released more around the time the advertising started.
