    is benchrest using a .22 in a vice or
    can it be on bipod/sandbag?

    There is no vice allowed - you may use a front rest - which there are many variations of - however you must be able to lift the rifle without requiring any adjustment to the rest

    in 'International Sporter' you may use a bipod - however the rifle, scope, bipod and anything attached it must be no more that 8.5lbs and the maximum magnification may be 6.5x

    light varmint may be up to 10.5lbs with no limit to magnification (no bipod tho)

    heavy varmint may be heavier with no limit to magnification (no bipod tho)

    there is also sporting rifle (prone) where a bipod is not allowed but where a sling is
