Don't like the dress on the mannequin. Maybe it will look nicer on her.

The majority of the UK ones are Church and English country home.

nah, the english ones are always that the bride WANTS english country home...groom never delivers!

    we had a miners club
    a sailing club
    theme park
    museum of science fiction
    new york
    ibiza

    can't remember the rest

and most of them are just having photos in somewhere pretty if a country home is involved. there was one who had a jane austen themed wedding which yes was in a country home but wasn't your typical wedding really. really loved the english one but i think the producers find out what the groom is going to do and the more outlandish the better chance they have of getting on the programme.

I don't like the wedding dress! I find it hard to believe a dressmaker would make a dress without meeting the bride and taking her measurements etc..

I think the waist is too low i.e. She needs an empire waistline IMO.

Haven't seen any of those yet, I have it on series link! They majority of ones I've seen are in country homes or castles. Looks like I have some fun episodes ahead of me!!

Hey, don't be dissin' MrsD's fella!
He is quickly losing his appeal girls, he wants to save money on the wedding rings, the rings are the only thing you have beyond the wedding day, I wouldn't cut corners there.

Did she give a reason for not having a hen night??

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,431 ✭✭✭sideswipe

To be honest I think she is a perfect replacement for mammy- C'mon no 'boozy nights out', Joe Dolan, Shania Twain............. 30(ish) going on 60(ish)

Did ya ever watch Four Weddings? Sure the women don't make much of a great job of things themselves! Some of them are just dire, in local run-down community rooms, with manky buffets.

In fairness, not everyone can afford to spend 10k + on one day.
