"If he gets the dress wrong I dont think she'll walk up the aisle"..

Do we have to get that line from the bride's mother EVERY week..

This could be the first wedding where it all goes horribly wrong....

Or all work out at the last minute like usual.

Don't think we need to bother opening a book

The Osprey is NOT on the main street.. it's in a sort of business park just outside the town, in beside the tax office..

They have to make it sounds as horrible as possible (even though it's a lovely hotel) because it what the bride doesn't want.

FFS, it's not his mother's wedding, she'll go wherever he chooses at the end of the day!!

any ideas what the two country house are? Unusual not to give a name in the commentary!

The Osprey looks nice and different enough. Whoever writes the script is a snob.

The Osprey always struck me more as a "business" hotel, more than a wedding hotel..

I take it back. She doesn't want it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 29,089 ✭✭✭✭LizT

They must specifically ask the bride

"How would you feel about a modern hotel like the Osprey etc?"

"How would you feel if he went with a gothic theme" etc

Roundwood House was the second of the country houses. Beautiful.

€1200 is ridiculous for one dress for one day imo.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,765 ✭✭✭Diddler1977

The designer seems really good! But can she make a dress in 3 weeks?

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,585 ✭✭✭✭Lady Chatterton

I find it very hard to believe that any dress designer would make a dress without measuring the bride.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,765 ✭✭✭Diddler1977

    That room is horrendous

They are always doing that on this Show.

Very unfair on some very nice Hotels, just to suit the totally contrived script.

    Reality show, my arse

Amdublin, Would you believe the average bride spends about €1,800 - €2,000.

  • Registered Users Posts: 20,653 ✭✭✭✭amdublin

    Is this the Osprey?

They should be ashamed of that civil ceremony room

  • Registered Users Posts: 658 ✭✭✭MIRMIR82

He should've spent the 1200 on his teeth instead of the dress :o

I thought he had already chosen The Osprey?
