Just watching a brilliant English episode where the guy booked Las Vegas and the whole family went mental and weren't going to fly out etc.

Loads of tears, complete breakdown on the rules - the producers allowed the girl talk on the phone to the fella etc.

    It was brilliant!

Couldn't see it happening on the Irish Paint by Numbers version.

That episode is so funny. I agree the Irish one is a bit paint by numbers but then people are more limited with venues etc here.

I have seen that one. I agree, It was brilliant car crash television :)

The BBC version is so much better, you don't know what is going to happen. And it doesn't have Dawn Bradfield doing her annoying voiceover.

Wow, it looks gorgeous in this pic! She is super skinny tho.

Think the biggest you could be is a small chested 12 to get away with this style of dress.

Yeah. I love the neckline but I am size 12 with big boobs, and youd need a Kiera Knightly chest 4 this. Might look 4 something similar but sew a panel in to the neckline? I think this dress is Amanda Wakeley or Jenny Pakham and both those designers dresses don't do much for over size 10! Too clingy.

did y'all hear of the new "don't tell the bride" sorta programme?

the mothers in law have to pitch their plans for their offsprings day and then the bride and groom have to choose one of the mother's in law's ideas...can you imagine rejecting your own mother's idea all for a 5* honeymoon in dubai? i don't think you even get money to spend on the wedding...

It's a repeat, it was on last week. It was quite good actually!

A few of the men seem to be a bit more "portly" :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,064 ✭✭✭julyjane

I only saw one episode of the UK DTTB but I have to say I found it more entertaining. The man was an absolute disaster from start to finish and I was hoping she wouldn't marry him but laughing at how he kept f**king up and she kept going back to him.

I don't know how many episodes they made but it was the one where she turned up at the registry office, they got married and then HE went off to Ibiza with the best man (who seemed to be a bit TOO fond of the groom) leaving her in the pub with all her family and not a clue what was going on.

Yeah the UK ones were much better. The Irish ones "conveniently" all worked out alright in the end.
