Ok, they seriously are taking the p1ss with the budget.
    Over 5 K for venue
    800 for the dress
    4 BM dresses
4 Groomsmen suits and 2 for the wee lads, and the groom of course
Then personalised candles and disposable cameras on the tables
    Fancy wedding car
    Cake
    Flowers.
Civil ceremony venue hire and payment of registrar
I'm sure there's loads more that I've not thought of.

How the hell are we meant to believe this was under 10K???

Its a joke you cant get all that for 10K.

They dont even cover all the small bits on the show.

The Budget in the british one is 12K.

Anyone know why they thank the HSE in the credits for every episode?
For patching up the groom after the bride goes nuts? :D

Possibly something to do with a civil ceremony?

For any wedding (religious or civil ceremonies) you have to register your intention to marry with the HSE at least 3 months in advance. I'd imagine they are being thanked because they help with this condition of marriage. It's possible to get the 3 months waived in certain circumstances.

    Is the season over??

The shows producers must think were idiots

Oh yeah the dumb man hasnt a clue what wedding dress to get his bride to be.

And he doesnt have a clue what type of venue the bride would like either.

And every episode the groom says "its my wedding too". Ask any married man its the brides day weather he likes it or not.

I love the look of Faithlegg.

The poor manager of the Granville when the groom mentioned a beach theme.

I'm a bit teary eyed at the bride's father talking about his late wife/bride's mother, true love for him

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,963 ✭✭✭Meangadh

Yes to straps, I'd agree with him on that!

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,251 ✭✭✭Pang

    Strapless is too bare.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,963 ✭✭✭Meangadh

I prefer the one he's picked over the one she likes actually!

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,251 ✭✭✭Pang

He did well there with the dress considering the beach theme. I was getting worried!

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,963 ✭✭✭Meangadh
