    I absolutely love that house :eek:

    But i wouldnt touch it unless i had about 300k lying around.

    is it listed?

    Both questions - how long is a piece of string? I suggest you don't get into the property business just now. :)

    You could easily spend €100,000-200,000 (or a million) on it and not see the money back.

    It looks like it has been vacant / underused for some time, so you need to have someone look at it professionally, preferably a building surveyor and get them to put together some options.

    no such thing as a listed building - protected is the word. local council website should have the details for it.
    Great looking house - new electrics, heating, damp proofing, roof repairs (dependant on rot etc...) insulation, painting, floorboard repairs, chimney repairs, windows re-done to include double glazing but keep the sliding sash, timber repairs to doors/architrave/skirting, possible new kitchen etc.... €150,000 minimum. You may have a need for an architect but if you can get a reputable builder who specialises and you draw up a list of works, agree a price, agree a procedure on unforeseen costs then you'll save a penny.
    These houses should be kept.
