Brilliant game between Higgins and Trump. Congradulations to Higgins and well done to Trump for fantastic playing.

It was a good final alright. Great tournament overall.

I like Trump, love the way he plays, his attitude and his "Just go for it" mentality. I hope more up and coming snooker players go for this style of play.

as for Higgins, well done. Experience and hard graft won out in the end, but I bet he will be watching his back to see if Trump is behind him in the future!

Cant wait for next year. Hope Neil Robertson comes back strong, I was shocked that he got knocked out in the first round.
Is it just me, or was there absolutely no mention of last years EPIC final between Robertson and Dott?!?!?!?

What was Robertson v Trump like? I know Trump destroyed him... But Robertson is uber aggressive as well, so I would have expected it to be an exciting match!

Good match but Robertson was a small bit below par, never really got into stride. At 9-7 Trump looked like he was going to choke, but he managed to pull it out. It left me skeptical to his chances for the rest of the week, I was proved wrong though.

Seriously Mods, can we clean up this thread, it seems some "snooker fans" only wanna discuss match fixing claims.

Fair play to Higgins for winning, hes one gritty competitor!! Im in no way a fan of his, never have been but gotta respect how he grinds out results.

Trump will no doubt have many more chances at a world title but i couldnt help thinking it would have been sooo much better for snooker had he won.

Anyway, great final, great championships...onwards and upwards for snooker..:)
