Eircom Netopia router (2247-62) alternative firmware?

    I was just wondering if any alternative firmwares are compatible with my router. (e.g DDWRT, Tomato etc.).
    I would buy a new one but I'm sooo cheap XD.

    Being only slightly less cheap, I bought a 2nd hand linksys, put DD-WRT on it, and used the Eircom router as a modem only (in bridging mode). Login etc handled by the linksys.

    There are more DD-WRT compatible routers which are not also ADSL modems ...

    Worked for me ...
