Roaming charges

Hey all,

This may well be in the wrong section (and a really retarded thing to ask), if it is, I apologise.

Anyways, I currently have an iPhone 4 on bill with 3. I pay €60 a month and with that I get 650 units (1 unit = 1 minute or 2 texts), 15GB of data and a bonus 150 free messages.

I just want to know if I'll be charged extra when I'm away to text home or use the internet abroad.

Will each text I send still be worth the half unit? Or will I be charged like €.50 per text and then a bucket load for browsing the web?


....obviously I'm clueless so any help would be great.

Hi. First of all it depends where you are roaming
If in another country where 3 have service, then you can use 3 like home which allows you use all your data, voice, sms etc the very same as if you were at home

Hey, I'll be in Vegas. Not sure what kind of service they have or what kind of connection it will be....

So if they don't have 3 service available I'm screwed??

Guess I'll be leaving my phone at home with prices like that
