Clear sky and it looked massive, no matter how many time I see this it wrecks my head thinking about its size.

I managed to get a long exposure shot of it going overhead tonight:

5662645980_5f8603f43e_z.jpg

30 second exposure, the long streak is the ISS going past. The bright blob just below it is Saturn. My backyard isn't the darkest place in Dublin so not ideal but I'm still pretty happy with it :)

This seems to confirm tonights visable pass of the ISS for Dublin,Ireland.

ISSThu Apr 28/10:42 PM22412 above W24 above SSW

It is from the following website were you can choose your own location;

http://spaceflight.nasa.gov/realdata/sightings/

i like to combine it with the ISS feed at NASA TV page:

http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/index.html

and the realtime ISS tracking,which if You use hybrid mode shows exactly what part of the World the ISS is at any given time:

http://www.n2yo.com/

and sure enough it turned up on time and disappeared as predicted for my location :)
Not spectular as last night, but i am not complaining! :)

Just caught it by accident, just before 10. Was watching the fireworks out the window in limerick and spotted what i thought was an unusually bright plane until i saw this thread, now I know it was the ISs im delighted, never seen it before.

Very fast in fact..17500 mph, or 5 miles per second, thats 25 times faster then the speed of sound, it takes them just over 90 minutes to circle the Earth, which they do 16 times a day...... What a way to go:)

I think I just saw it (Dublin). Appeared at 22:20 ish from the South East (approx), moving very fast - lost it when it was directly overhead. Can anyone confirm that my eyes were not playing tricks ?

Passing at 21:08 tonight, but it'll probably still be too bright to see it.

Last night's passing at 22:20 was very low. I couldn't see it from my back garden.
