Tri Kilkenny 2011

I did tri Kilkenny last year as my first sprint. Was pretty happy with it, came in around 1.22.

I've a couple of other sprints planned for the Summer but hope to go Olympic for this one. Shouldn't be too much of a problem, I've been consistent with my training as most folk around here would suggest to be.

I was wondering do people foresee much of a change for this race now that it'll be a 'Grand Prix' event? Will it have more of an elite element? Or is it all to make more money?

    Thanks

That's what I suspected. Still, think I'll sign up anyway. Just feels a bit too commercial or something!

Better club races out there, I wouldn't spend €60 on it anyway
