    Hi all!

Just to let all know plan's for nom-con 2011 are well under way!

    New website at www.nom-con.net

Last year was a fantastic success with possibly the best trade hall seem at an anime con on the emerald Isle, guests and and loads of fresh and fun events. We even managed to raise over €1,700 for charity brainwave which was well beyond our expectations ^^

This year once again we'll be holding it in D4 Hotels in Ballsbridge, Dublin and it'll be on the 5th - 7th of August.

This year we'll have more guests than ever before! Topping the list is Kyle Hebert, with voices in Gurren Lagann, Dragonball Z and much more ^^ Other amazing guests are listed on our guest page with more to come! We'll have another huuuge guest to announce at the end of the month and trust me you will not be disappointed. ;)

Beez, manga entertainment, and Kaze will be represented in the trade hall so expect some pretty nice deals ^^

    Pre-reg is open!

There will be a cap of a 1,000 people per day and I would not be surprised of a sell-out. If you want to guarantee your place pre-reg as soon as possible. Also pre-reg money helps us big time with funding for the con which makes it even better =) Thanks for your continued support and remember we are non-profit volunteer run!

Weekend pass with free t-shirt €35
    Day Pass €20
    either passes include friday free

    It was great overall.

The only annoying thing was the hotel staff on the last day.

The staff there can be a bit crap, esp when you are trying to get served.

    Oh no you dih-n' <clicks fingers>

Was only there for the Saturday and enjoyed every second. Could someone please tell me why this was packed to the hilt but ArcadeCon wasn't? (Only in comparison). Also only new to the conventions and loving them!

Probably because @rcadeCon was a newer con than NomCon, Nom had a good reputation from last year

What I didn't like, hotel security ordering people out of the lobby and up to their rooms
