Fake invoice in PRTB case?

Currently in the middle of a PRTB case. An invoice has been submitted which I'm led to believe is either extremely amateurish or a fake. I called to the address on the invoice, to query the type of services they carry out & to attain a possible price list. There is nobody for that company at that particular dress. The person who answered the door knew nothing about them.

I'm just wondering is it okay to do this? Or should I leave it to the PRTB to query the validity of each and every invoice?
