All in one - good deal for £599 ?

I know they don't ship to Ireland, but I'll be heading over to the inlaws with the car over Easter so transport is no problem.

From what I can see, this particular model is the higher end of the range with these specs - Intel Core i5-430M 2.26GHz, 4Gb, 500Gb, Webcam, BT, TV Tuner, Win 7 Home Premium)

I gather the DVD is external, but that's not a problem as I don't use a whole heap of DVDs anyway, so it would be unplugged most of the time.

It has HDMI and at least one review said the 21.5" screen was full HD (1900*whatever it is).

So, what's the view ? Good value ?

Already have a laptop, so portability is not an issue. I'm looking for a desktop replacement.

It uses the same internal components you'd find in a €500-600 laptop. If that's what you're after and you can't use a proper desktop for whatever reason then fair enough. Personally I wouldn't consider it great value but I can understand that there is a market for these type of all-in-ones.

For what it's worth, they do ship to Ireland. And right on that page here's a link to a better model for £20 less.
