I would not recommend several UK companies owned/run by the same people - Mr Neil McVey, Mr Tom McVey.
The Social Media People (www.thesocialmediapeople.co.uk)
Net66 Webservices Ltd (www.net66.co.uk)
If anyone knows of other companies run by these people I'd be keen to know the names.

Ireland trust me the company The Social Media People and it's directors are nothing more than a bad scam.

Don't get caught out by this scam They tell you first that its a one month sample trial then they say your caught in a rolling contract.

What's more there is no proof or verification that they adverts on Facebook actually existed.

Again don't waste your money. If you do go ahead with these people and then write anything on any forum about them you then get threatened with lawsuits and even worse violence or even death threats.

And finally if you do say anything bad about them they then accuse you have some really bad crimes they do this on certain forums. They have been banned for the BadBiz Forum. so they cannot threaten you there.

People on that forum are sharing evidence so to stop the scam and several complaints have been issued to Police and trading standards.

I can confirm that threats are made by the companies - and here is one example which relates to boards.ie:
(Keep in mind that on this forum I did not reveal personal information and my identity is not my real name, so there is no way the company could be sure of who wrote.)

When I first posted on this forum - boards.ie - the post was quickly followed by a telephone message from a Director of the company stating that I would be sued for libel. Shortly afterwards I received a very 'heavy duty' email with a BIG heading 'Notice of Legal Action' which described my alleged 'crime' and also stated that I would be sued for libel unless I removed the post.

All that because I said that I wouldn't recommend them!

I have had several other threats from The Social Media People, not limited to libel action.

How did they get your details? Phone and email for example?

In general - They don't 'know' who the 'poster' is, unless the 'poster' reveals specific detail which reveals their identity.

When someone posts, the company (TSMP) takes a guess at who might have done it.
They phone, posing as a (fictitious) Solicitor or a (fictitious) Company Director, and accuse you of being the person posting (but at this point they are on a 'fishing trip').
If you admit or intimate that it might be you, they then go a bit further to send a 'Notice of Legal Action' email. - OR they just send it to you anyway!

They had all my contact details as I was an existing (but VERY unhappy) customer.

They have other 'tricks' in order to try to silence criticism - and none of them are pleasant, nor acceptible business practice for a respectable company.

This reveals 2 recordings, under 2 different 'names' of caller; but the caller is clearly the same person. One of these was received by me, and one by another customer of TSMP.

There is so much evidence of the misdemeaners of TSMP that no-one with any objectivity could doubt the veracity of the many charges against them.

The Directors (a matter of public record in UK) are Tom McVey, Neil McVey.

I would further like to add that the other poster is very correct. Threats and harassment are a tool used.

They got my number off my forum and called it blocking there number 5 times in 1/2 hour. Firstly they stated they would blast my name accross the internet.

What I got from Tom McVey was abuse and physical threats of violence, when that didn't work it then extended to death threats.

That didn't happen so then it went to posting false accussations about me on another website calling me a rapist and asking if I was in a paedofile ring. They do that to try and silence anyone.
