Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

MP3 player won't mount, content corrupted

I copied a few gigs of music onto my mp3 player last night (from my Ubuntu machine). This morning when I went to play it I noticed nearly all the tracks were corrupted in some way (tag info, songs with 0 length...). I tried to connect it to a Windows PC this morning and though it detects a new USB MP3 player I can't view the contents. The player has an option to use a USB or MTP interface but I can't see any files either way.

So I formatted the player (using its own software) but I still can't access the disk from Windows.

    Any ideas?

You've tried various usb ports on the computer? When it's plugged in go to device manager and uninstall it. Then plug it out and plug it back in. What mp3 player is it?

Umm, turns out in Windows it mounts to two separate drive letters at once and I was trying to read/write the wrong one!

    :o
