Point to point cancelled

    The Turf Club has announced that the Waterford Foxhounds point-to-point at Lisaleen in Tramore, Co Waterford has been cancelled on Sunday, 24th April. The course was found to be unfit for racing when inspected earlier today.

    Unfit in what way? If the ground is waterlogged then there's little hope for the track considering we've had nothing but dry weather lately and the going everywhere else is good or firm.

    Don't know the full story to be honest, even though I couldnt go to it, it's very dissapointinting considering all the recent good weather .

    There having another inspection apparently and will decide after that .

    *Turf Club News* The Stewards have granted permission for the Waterford (F) pt-to-pt at Lisaleen to be rescheduled for Sun, 24th Apr on an alternative trak.
