    snatch: only went to 78 for a single, too much pain on contact and was trying to avoid it. Lame.

    Back squat: 107x4x5, hips started rotating clockwise so I didn't do the 5th set to avoid the upward snapping of my ****. durn.

    clean and jerk: 3 singles at 95, 2 at 90. Soft lockout, good positions otherwise, flexed wrists before takeoff.

    Front squat 100x2x2, no back exploding here, hips seemed to work properly today, which means they'll stop working for the next year.

    Sn pulls, 3x80, 90, 95. No castration incidents on these today.

    Later that evening: Planks with a 16kg Chernoball, trying to maintain full tension, comrade.

    3 singles 80, 3 singles 85. Hmm...

    1x88, fx91(behind), 91 (PB!) Hmmmmm.....

    94kg 10xf. clarked the first and all subsequent attempts got progressively easier. 8th was locked out but forward, 10th was clarked! Very very close, just sluggish getting under. 8th attempt here:



    Back squats, 120x1, Erm, this was supposed to be a set of five....

    went again, didn't bother standing with the first and dumped it :(!

    81kg today so snatchin' 10kg over bodyweight is nice. Shoulda been 13!

    haha, I'm happy about it, I'd be a litttle bit happier with 94 though. Feck it!

    was out in kiwifit in sutton there, nice place. got browbeaten into doing overhead squats 3x5x65,
    messed with the trap bar. Still suspicious of these things. Wandered to an almighty 120kg and stopped because it felt wrong!

    Edit:
    Did some squat voodoo work and went for a cycle. Got up "Hayth" in 9.58, descended through the village (little too hairy for my liking with traffic and humans around), went around and up again in about 12mins taking it very easy.

    so tired.
    Clean and jerked 90 for a pair of singles. Gave up a few times on 95
    FS: 95, failed 100
    sprints: bunch. best was 7.7 I think. I dunno if it's 50 or 60 though.

    snatch: murdered 85, missed 90, 92, 90, 85, million singles on the minute with 80.

    fs: weak ass singles and doubles at 90.

    soo tired.

    Planets aligned sufficiently to allow training

    No hands no feet: couple doubles at 60

    Clean and jerk. Erm... 5 singles at 85. Cleans a lot better though.

    Halting snatch dead+sn pull: few singles at a ton

    front squats with 5s pause at bottom. 80, 85 three singles each. Prefer pause at the top.

    Was out in Celbridge, which meant a sneaky max was to be attempted, pissed 85 again, 90 went behind, 92.5 was locked out but a bit forward. Clean and jerked...err...95. Good fun, much rambling and banter! Moved better than usual, probably because herself forced me to actually warm up properly!

    Crossfit West Dublin, it's in the industrial estate off the M4. Dee was doing a workshop out there and I was brought along as a kinda-sorta quasi-weightlifter demo monkey!

    NHNF snatches: 65 for 3 doubles. very very good "clunk-clunk".

    clean+5s pause in hole+jerk: 5 singles at 90.
    probably not a good idea holding my breath during these, started to black out before the jerks, lost one of them sideways, which is new.

    Frontal squats: 5 or 6 doubles at 90.

    Need to do some superset crap. work capacity is arsed.

    Snatched up to 85, missed 88 3 times, one of 'em was very hairy
    4 doubles at 75, had to work for them too

    power clean: forgetting how to power clean

    back squat, 115x1, 90x5

    went home, fell asleep!

    Light front squats yesterday, today:

    front squat up to 105 twice, missed 110 and 108
    clean and jerk: 95, miss clean on 98
    Snatch: wandered up to 85 after a couple of misses, missed 89. Leinsters saturday so gonna rest up until then

    Leinsters: weighed in at about 10, lifted at about 7!

    snatch:
    88-92(fail in front)-92(fail behind)
    damnit! 92 was very close on the first, threw it behind on the second try.

    clean and jerk:
    98-102-106(fail clean)
    98 felt like it was pressed, rapey told me to widen the grip for the second attempt and it helped, 106 was high enough but a little bit out front (left the hands narrow again. Happy enough with a 190 total but I should be hitting the heavier snatches on the platform.

    Erm, didn't do anything since the leinsters. trained in santry with the entire internet. Was a bit grey and dizzy.

    Snatch: 3 successful doubles at 75, a few sloppy misses around it
    Squat: 3x10x70 (operation legs begins, will probably forget about it in a day and go back to singles)

    Squat jerk: I can never leave Santry without doing something idiotic. got to 80, had 4 pops at 85, nearly made the third but didn't jump wide enough so had to shoot the hips back. Missed one behind, gotta move fast when that happens!

    Decided to train twice this month:

    Clean+fs+2 jerks, 5 sets at 80, c&j: crappy 90
    Pause FS, 5 doubles at 85, pause between 3 and 5s
    Chinaman snatch pulls: 3x3x80
    Snatch dead: 100x5

    That actually felt like a lot. durnit!

    And so it was that they were caught in a standing position.

    then he Power cleaneth and power jerketh: 75x3x3. He overpulleth the power like the damned and for his penance was gifted a sore back

    Upon his back he placeth an almost unweighted barbell of five and seventy kilogrammes and squatteth ten times for three sets

    He then forgetteth his clean deadlifts :(.

    Back was giving me hassle, ironic considering Daithi's post!

    Did some pilates stuff in the meantime, squatted today sets of 10: 75-80-80. Was shown how to do the abdominal voodoo properly. back smug lifting tomorrow probably.
