    snatch: murdered 85, missed 90, 92, 90, 85, million singles on the minute with 80.

    fs: weak ass singles and doubles at 90.

    soo tired.

    Planets aligned sufficiently to allow training

    No hands no feet: couple doubles at 60

    Clean and jerk. Erm... 5 singles at 85. Cleans a lot better though.

    Halting snatch dead+sn pull: few singles at a ton

    front squats with 5s pause at bottom. 80, 85 three singles each. Prefer pause at the top.

    Was out in Celbridge, which meant a sneaky max was to be attempted, pissed 85 again, 90 went behind, 92.5 was locked out but a bit forward. Clean and jerked...err...95. Good fun, much rambling and banter! Moved better than usual, probably because herself forced me to actually warm up properly!

    Crossfit West Dublin, it's in the industrial estate off the M4. Dee was doing a workshop out there and I was brought along as a kinda-sorta quasi-weightlifter demo monkey!

    NHNF snatches: 65 for 3 doubles. very very good "clunk-clunk".

    clean+5s pause in hole+jerk: 5 singles at 90.
    probably not a good idea holding my breath during these, started to black out before the jerks, lost one of them sideways, which is new.

    Frontal squats: 5 or 6 doubles at 90.

    Need to do some superset crap. work capacity is arsed.

    4 doubles at 75, had to work for them too

    power clean: forgetting how to power clean

    Light front squats yesterday, today:

    front squat up to 105 twice, missed 110 and 108
    clean and jerk: 95, miss clean on 98
    Snatch: wandered up to 85 after a couple of misses, missed 89. Leinsters saturday so gonna rest up until then

    Leinsters: weighed in at about 10, lifted at about 7!

    snatch:
    88-92(fail in front)-92(fail behind)
    damnit! 92 was very close on the first, threw it behind on the second try.

    clean and jerk:
    98-102-106(fail clean)
    98 felt like it was pressed, rapey told me to widen the grip for the second attempt and it helped, 106 was high enough but a little bit out front (left the hands narrow again. Happy enough with a 190 total but I should be hitting the heavier snatches on the platform.

    Erm, didn't do anything since the leinsters. trained in santry with the entire internet. Was a bit grey and dizzy.

    Snatch: 3 successful doubles at 75, a few sloppy misses around it
    Squat: 3x10x70 (operation legs begins, will probably forget about it in a day and go back to singles)

    Squat jerk: I can never leave Santry without doing something idiotic. got to 80, had 4 pops at 85, nearly made the third but didn't jump wide enough so had to shoot the hips back. Missed one behind, gotta move fast when that happens!

    Decided to train twice this month:

    Clean+fs+2 jerks, 5 sets at 80, c&j: crappy 90
    Pause FS, 5 doubles at 85, pause between 3 and 5s
    Chinaman snatch pulls: 3x3x80
    Snatch dead: 100x5

    That actually felt like a lot. durnit!

    Back was giving me hassle, ironic considering Daithi's post!

    Did some pilates stuff in the meantime, squatted today sets of 10: 75-80-80. Was shown how to do the abdominal voodoo properly. back smug lifting tomorrow probably.

    Squats of the back variety: 3x10x85kg. Managed not to ram my spine into full extension again which is nice.

    Deep knee bends:
    3x10x95, think I did 11 on the last set. Was listening to something and forgot to count properly. Not too bad. Last rep looked like a snuff movie

    not too bad, apart from being triples. Shoulder is still menstruating so only stood the last one in each set. Missed two and retook immediately.

    wasn't bothered with anything else.

    Woman told me to stay at 100, did 3x10 again. Rank.
    Jerks: doubled 90. Dale Jr made me do a bunch of stuff to keep upright so did a pile of things around 80-85
    FS with 5s pause: 90

    Did some hip/clean drills

    Man lift weights. ECB:

    Snatched 80 for a triple, went to double 85 but got thrush, back to 80 for a bunch of doubles. got sleepy. Swanned around for a while, pause FS (2 or 3s) up to 95 for a single, gave up on 100. Swanned around some more. Tired now!

    Forgot: got committed and did some bench pressing

    Still fightin' for position. Need to brace harder. 100 needs to be a "no doubt" lift in training at this stage.

    the 100 looked like an abortion having an abortion. I kinda cheated too. Will do it properly next time.

    tweaked neck in the third set of squats. It's starting to feel a tad sore now. Dunno whether to continue tens, they're looking a bit worse than they were but I can probably still add more weight and keep them reasonable looking. The dread is increasing though!

    Herp:

    tweaked 3rd in 3rd set. These look a lot easier than they feel. Gonna have to get some crack before training in future. screwed up splicing the videos. Not going to fix it.

    Erm, didn't train since the 4th. Decided to work late and stress instead.

    Came up but started going back down the last one. Did a single after anyway. Balls. Thought I was out of line but didn;t seem to be on the video. I didn't really want to squat today.

    Felt like a can of hard-boiled shíte before snatches so a pair of pbs is not to be sniffed at. I'm going to somehow equate that to a single at a million kg and use it as justification to not train for a month.

    Man it's weird. They look easy until I fail. I might spend some time practicing grinding out heavy singles. Also, I am a wuss!

    Neck demons returned the other day so I'm lying low until they're gone. Might go to 5x5 after.

    Thought I pulled an adductor getting out of bed this morning but it was just DOMS.

    Squats : 4x6x110, thought I was only doing three sets and became unhappy when I remembered it was four.
    snatch: up to 88 for a handy single. cooled down because I was yammerin' at someone and missed a second attempt at it.
    Had 2mins to do something on the jerk before the platforms closed. wandered up to 95 and missed 100. More upright than before anyway.

    I forget how this went. An approximate account:
    Snatch:
    80-84(on 4th attempt)-88(three fails)-80-84-88-92(4 fails)-92(PB!)-95(3 fails but was close enough to get spat out.)

    Jurk:
    5 minutes: 80-90-95-100-105(2 fails. Very close)

    Jerk looks terrible. it's all wrong. I don't video them often but this was nasty looking. Snatches weren't great and the brain was getting in the way. Very happy with the pb though, prolly the lowest height I've ever pulled a successful snatch to. Squats tomorrow :(
