Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Jesus in the Quran

    Is it true that Jesus is the most quoted prophet in the quran? I heard it said it is actually Moses? Anyone here know the answer to this?

    According to the Quranic Arabic Corpus, Moses (Musa) is referred to 136 times in the Qur'an, some of which relate to statements by Moses. Jesus ('Isa) is referred to 25 times, only some of which involve actual quotations.

    I have not done a complete search of all prophets named in the Qur'an, but Joseph (Yusuf) is named 27 times, Noah (Nuh) 43 times, and Abraham (Ibrahim) 69 times.

    Even Mary (Maryam) has more references in the Qur'an than Jesus, being mentioned 35 times.

    Yes - of the 25 references to Jesus in the Qur'an, only seven include direct quotations.
