Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I didnt receive an email so I emailed someone and they said it was sent even though I didnt get it. Best email them and ask to reissue it.

I completed the online tests but heard nothing back either. I just assumed I wasn't successful. I might email them and see, could be worth a try I suppose. Did you just ask if you were successful or not?

  • Registered Users Posts: 696 ✭✭✭fungie

I didn't receive an email about the online tests so I asked it to be reissued. I received the email about the video interview straight after I completed the online tests. I assumed that everybody gets to do the online tests and interview.

I haven't heard anything since I submitted the online tests. Not sure whether I should email them or not, or what to even ask. Don't want to look like I expected a video interview if not everyone receives one :(

    Hey all,

I am going to the assessment centre on the 14th for Corporate and Treasury.

I'd like to know if anyone has insights about what the Graduate Programme would be like.

I'm hesitating to attend the interview as I am unsure whether the programme would be a good fit for me.

My background is not traditional (Politics and Economics student, one year internship in lobbying for financial services firms) and I am worried the role would be exclusively putting together stuff on Excel and punching numbers. I like work that has a big picture component to it and am a bit off a politics nerd and would love for my work to reflect that...any advice?

    Thanks!

    Hi there!

Also going to the assessment centre on the 14th for C+T. Nice to hear from someone else. Posted on another thread to see if there were others here but I didn't get a reply. As far as I was aware, the program gives you the fantastic opportunity to rotate through 3 departments so as to get a flavour for the area.

I'm already in the industry in an entry level position so using it as an opportunity to move up the ranks.

Quick question, did you have to do a video interview? I read that it was a requirement but my application went straight from the online testing to the assessment centre. Also, there doesn't seem to be a pre prepared 6 minute presentation either. Has the process been changes since the last one?

Hey, nice to hear from another candidate :)

For me the process went online application --> online tests --> video interview (wasn't in front of someone but rather recording answers) --> assessment centre. From what I understand the assessment centre is the last step and will comprise of group and individual exercises and an individual interview. According to the email we don't have to prep anything (apart from pictures/copies of certificates) so no presentation I guess.

Do you know of any resources about the programme so I could get a better idea of what the work would be like? I have no idea what the position entails so far apart from what was in the very short description on their website and really would love more info in order to decide whether it'd be a good fit for me, before spending an afternoon interviewing and the day before prepping for it!!

Going by the same information as you. Seems to be an overview of corporate and treasury banking with Bank of Ireland with three rotations. On their group website you can get more information about the three separate departments.

I would say the best thing to do would be to send on any questions you have to Rachael.
