Yeah, he's probably complaining about how sh*te Frank Stapleton is on analysis too.

I hate to say it but i think Izzy and Kayal are too good for Celtic and we'll do very well to keep eitjer of them

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Stokes made a balls of two breaks there

the commentator has such a Rangers bias, no matter what about the penalty he's trying to say there was no contact in it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

yessssss I'll take that! :D Never in my wildest dreams did I see Celtic getting a dodgy penalty at Ibrox so not surprised Sammy missed!

I think Lafferty, Jelavic, Naysmith, Davis and Edu owe their manager, defence, goalkeeper and fans a massive apology after those performances.

Not as good a game as the last few, never the less it is now in Celtic's hand to win the title with 5 games left.

Some really good saves from McGregor. Never a peno right enough although their was contact for the 2nd Stokes shout, Thomson must have realised his error with the first award and decided to book Stokes anyway.

Had the feeling beforehand that it would be a tense, cagey draw that didn't really settle anything, and I was right. Walter Smith's last Old Firm game interestingly.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,627 ✭✭✭Lawrence1895

Just as I predicted, a scoreless draw. But how on earth could Sammy miss the peno? I wish, I was my cat, he slept all the way during the match ;)

My àsshole has eaten a hole through my boxers....

I'd have taken a draw before the game, no question, but I can't help now but feel gutted that Sammy didn't bury that Peno... Especially since I stuck 20 noops on Celtic to win at 7/2 with 70 mins gone.

Ah well, league entirely in our hands now so it's ours to lose.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 760 ✭✭✭seafood dunleavy

Can't believe Sammy didn't realise that McGregor would more than likely go the way he took his last one.

    Fair result.

I would have taken a draw before the game today so happy enough with the result. 13 points from their last 5 games should be enough for Celtic to win the title IMO.

It will because of goal difference, unless they make up 10 goals or so

That could be done in 2 games in an SPL run-in....

It is indeed.... And like I say, in the SPL that's not a lot mate.

Job done. Thought it was a fair result, surprised at how open the game was. It was anyones for the taking.

Kayal and Majstorovic were very good, needed them to step up today and they did. Pity Samaras didn't stick the penalty away, tbh though it was a soft decision.

All in our hands now and that's the main thing, 4 wins and a draw will do it, no excuses not to go on and win it.

Although Rangers have not exactly eaten into it thus far... mainly down to Celtics defence being the best in the league.

    Fair result? Probably.

Both sides had their chances, and even though i would say Rangers were probably the slightly better team - Celtic came closer to converting those chances.

The penalty decision was a disgrace, in fact the claim Celtic had in the first half would have been more of a shout, and that wasnt even close to being what we would call a "Stonewaller".
Outwith that decision, and Ki's assault on Lafferty in the first minute i would say Thomson had a good game.

It was tense, nervy, and not exactly spectacular.
Some games you can compare to a chess match - this one was more like Arm Wrestling.

Celtic have one hand on the trophy now, can they keep their composure?

There he is, back from the pub ;)

Anyway, there's one match in hand for Celtic, but it's always a tricky trip to Caley Thistle, and only if we get those three points, I might think about winning the league

Can't believe this hasn't been brought up but what the fcuk was Lennon at at the end of the game? He should have just clapped the Celtic fans and got the fcuk off the pitch. Standing in the middle of the pitch inciting Rangers fans to hurl abuse at him isn't going to do him any favours whatsoever. Absolute fool for doing that.

He's been through hell all week so you think its wrong he gives a little back?Lenny isn't a saint but fair play to him showed he's defiant against them.Let's be honest he won't get it any more just because he taunted them a little. And don't say he brings it on himself. That is not the reason they hate him.

Yeah I think it's completely fcuking wrong to give a little back when you have been sent viable bombs in the post in the past week!

Maybe he should of kept his head down. But like I said he won't get it any worse. He'll get it a lot worse if he wins the league.

Inciting Rangers fans in what way? By standing on the pitch?

    Come off it.
