Launch of the Shuttle was scrubbed today until at least Monday. The other posts are referring to the ISS passing overhead tonight around 21.30.

I saw something pass over there about 20 minutes ago or so. I presume it was a satillite. Was moving from east to west...very faint compared to nearby stars.

It was only by chance I saw it...I had stepped out for a breath of fresh air and was looking up! So came on here to mention it.:)

Will the shuttle be visible in Ireland if it launches at 19:33 Irish time on monday?

You will get to see it pass over later on but not just after the launch with the tank as it will be far too bright here at that time.

The chances of seeing the shuttle and et after take off are well and truly gone now unless something drastic happens with STS135
