Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi,Would any of you guys know where there is a Seed Oil Rape field to photograph on the northside of Dublin.
I have seen one on the M50 heading towards the Airport but can not gain access to it.
Living in the D15 area so any close by would be nice.
    Cheers.

i don't have exact directions, but i think there's one near spricklestown, which would be out past hollystown. nice area to drive around, anyway.

Up the Malahide Road. Turn right on to Baskin Lane. You cant miss it. It was rape seed last year, probably is again this year. It's private property mind you. You'd do well to get permission if you wanted to go into the field.

Unlikely, it's very much a rotational crop, usually one year in 4.

The farmer will probably have another field in rape this year though, if the OP is lucky it'll be close to last years.

This field is near Drogheda which isn't too far from you. The sun sets behind this view so the bridge and field would be lit perfectly at about 7.30 - 8pm - unfortunately I was passing at 6pm!

there are fields out between cornstown and ballymadun - not far from ashbourne rugby club - which are accessible and in bloom. i should know, i'm covered in yellow spots of pollen. got some shots, and managed not to get any pollen on the camera.
