    Im little bit confused,is Esb offering cheaper tariffs at the moment? Do i get cheaper rate automatically?
    Im paying by dd.

    They are offering cheaper tariffs (up to 17% off elec if you go duel fuel). You have to opt in as it's not automatic. Call them or check their site.

    yeh you need to phone them to get the new lower rate, wonder how many poor little old ladies are still on the old higher rate.
